melting snow

turns roads into rivers

wet cloudberry field

---

paikallistie

toinen kaista veneille

märkä hillasuo

a sign of spring

the lake changes its postcode

with melting ice

---

kevään merkkejä

järvi tulee kylään

kutsumatta

stillness of air

the perfect evening calm

impressionist sky

---

ilma pysähtyy

katsoo taivaan loistoa

samoin matkamies

standing their ground

mere ghosts of olden days

pine and its shadow
---

spring-lit pine
shadow of its old
with a shadow of its now

---

mäntyvanhus

varjo entisestään

kevään valossa

no free lunch?

from mother nature's kitchen

sugar coated pines

---

kevään viimeiset

lumivalkeat oksat

sineen kurkottaa

a dash of late snow

will there be second thoughts for

migratory birds?

---

toukokuu

muuttolinnut huolissaan

uutta lunta!

three birches

small, medium and large

start of springtime

---

pienestä suureen

koivut valmiina kevään

talouskasvuun
